Role Objectives

To operate and manage multi-axis CNC machines (5-axis or above) for precision manufacturing of gold jewellery components, ensuring high accuracy, optimal metal utilization, superior finish quality, and adherence to production timelines while maintaining strict safety and quality standards specific to precious metal manufacturing.

Role Responsibilities
- Operate and manage 5-axis and above CNC machines for manufacturing intricate gold jewellery parts such as rings, pendants, bangles, and custom components.
- Interpret CAD/CAM designs and execute machining processes as per approved production drawings.
- Work extensively on JD Software for model preparation, toolpath understanding, and machining alignment.
- Perform machine setup including tooling selection, calibration, and parameter configuration for gold and allied precious metals.
- Ensure precision cutting with mínimal metal loss,



maintaining recovery norms and wastage control critical in gold manufacturing.
- Monitor machining accuracy, surface finish, and dimensional tolerances as per design specifications.
- Conduct trial runs, sample validation, and coordinate with the design team for corrections if required.
- Maintain proper documentation for production batches, metal issuance, scrap generation, and recovery tracking.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and coordinate preventive maintenance to avoid downtime.
- Troubleshoot machining errors, tool wear issues, and alignment problems to maintain continuous production.
- Follow strict metal accounting, traceability, and security protocols for handling precious materials.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, cleanliness, and controlled workplace requirements in jewellery manufacturing.
- Collaborate with CAD designers, quality team, and casting/polishing departments for seamless workflow integration.
