We are looking for an experienced Colour Stone Purchase Executive to manage the sourcing and procurement of all types of precious and semi-precious stones. The role involves vendor coordination, quality assessment, price negotiation, and ensuring timely availability of stones as per design and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Procure precious stones (Diamond substitutes, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire, etc.) and semi-precious stones (Amethyst, Garnet, Topaz, Tourmaline, Citrine, Peridot, etc.)
- Source stones locally and internationally as per company requirements
- Evaluate stones for quality, color, clarity, cut, size, treatment, and origin
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
- Maintain solid relationships with existing vendors and develop new supplier networks
- Coordinate closely with design, CAD, merchandising, and production teams
- Ensure stones meet design specifications, budget constraints, and timelines
- Maintain purchase records, inventory tracking, and reconciliation
- Stay updated on market trends, pricing fluctuations,



and stone availability
- Ensure ethical sourcing and compliance with company and industry standards
- Handle returns, replacements, and quality disputes with suppliers

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of colour stones (precious & semi-precious)
- Ability to assess stone quality and value accurately
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
- Understanding of jewellery manufacturing requirements
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good documentation and inventory management skills

Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in colour stone purchasing
- Experience in the gems and jewellery industry is mandatory
- Diploma or certification in Gemmology will be an added advantage
