Job Description - Production Chemist

Qualification:
- BSc Chemistry or:
- BE / BTech - Chemical Engineering or:
- MSc Chemistry

Experience: 3-5 years (Production environment)

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor chemical production processes as per approved batch manufacturing records (BMRs).
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.
- Execute production activities in compliance with SOPs, GMP, safety, and quality standards.
- Monitor critical process parameters and take corrective actions when required.
- Coordinate with Quality Control (QC), Quality Assurance (QA), and Engineering teams for smooth operations.
- Maintain production records, logbooks, and batch documentation accurately.
- Assist in scale-up, technology transfer, and process optimization activities.




- Troubleshoot process deviations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines at all times.

Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of chemical production processes.
- Knowledge of GMP, safety practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with reactors, distillation, filtration, and other unit operations.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle shop-floor operations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
