Position Overview

The Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) - Social Science will be responsible for teaching History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics to students of Classes VI to X, in accordance with the CBSE curriculum and NCERT guidelines. The teacher will focus on conceptual understanding, critical thinking, and value-based education.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, teaching aids, and presentations as per the academic calendar.
- Use activity-based, inquiry-based, and experiential learning methods.
- Integrate maps, charts, case studies, current affairs, and digital tools in teaching.
- Ensure completion of syllabus within the stipulated time frame.

Assessment & Evaluation
- Conduct periodic tests, unit tests, and term examinations.
- Evaluate answer scripts and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain records of assessments, attendance, and academic progress as per CBSE norms.
- Prepare students for board examinations, focusing on writing skills and map work.





Student Development
- Promote awareness of civic sense, constitutional values, national integrity, and global citizenship.
- Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial classes where required.
- Encourage participation in quizzes, debates, exhibitions, and social science projects.

Administrative & Co-curricular Duties
- Participate in school assemblies, events, clubs, and co-curricular activities.
- Attend Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and communicate student progress effectively.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Principal or School Management from time to time.

Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Graduation in Social Science / Humanities (History, Geography, Political Science, Economics), B.Ed. (mandatory)
- CTET Qualification: Preferred / As per CBSE norms

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
