Tarrina Health builds technology and distribution infrastructure to improve healthcare access in rural India. Our users include pharmacists, retailers, and healthcare providers—many of whom are non-digital natives and prefer speaking in their local language over typing into complex apps.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on Product Designer who can own both user research and UX design, especially in rural and semi-urban contexts.

This is not a “screens-only” role.

You will:
- Spend time in the field
- Observe real users using (or struggling with) products
- Translate messy, real-world behavior into straightforward, usable product flows
- Design screens based on the UX and collaborate with front end developers to bring them to life.

If you enjoy sitting with users, asking questions, testing rough prototypes, and simplifying complexity - this role is for you.

What you will do?
1. User Research (Hands-on, Field-Based)
- Conduct user interviews and observation with pharmacists, retailers, and field staff
- Understand language preferences, mental models,



and workarounds
- Identify where users struggle, hesitate, or abandon flows
- Capture insights through notes, recordings, photos, and short videos
- Work closely with field teams for access and context

2. UX & Interaction Design
- Design simple, intuitive flows for our mobile and webb apps across the distribution supply chain
- Reduce typing and cognitive load wherever possible
- Design for:
- Non-English users
- Low digital literacy
- Low-end Android devices
- Explore voice-assisted, image-based, or conversational UX where relevant
- Create wireframes, flows, and clickable prototypes (polish is secondary to clarity)

3. Testing & Iteration
- Test prototypes with real users
- Iterate quickly based on feedback
- Partner with engineers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented correctly
- Stay involved post-launch to see how designs perform in the real world
