Key Responsibilities
- Supervise quality control activities across fabrication, welding, and assembly processes.
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished products for quality compliance.
- Ensure adherence to drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct dimensional inspections and visual checks.
- Monitor welding quality and ensure compliance with approved procedures.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality procedures on the shop floor.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in quality control within PEB, steel fabrication, or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of fabrication processes, welding inspection, and structural components.
- Understanding of quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Solid attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, reporting systems).
Preferred
- Experience in structural steel or pre-engineered building manufacturing.
- Familiarity with welding inspection standards and quality systems.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
