As a Medical Coder, you will play a critical role in the revenue cycle by accurately translating healthcare services, diagnoses, and procedures into universally recognized codes. Your expertise ensures proper billing, compliance, and data analysis.
- Certification is essential: Must possess a valid certification.
- Expert-level knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding systems.
- Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and disease processes.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and coding software.
- Excellent analytical skills and a sharp attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
