Role Overview

A CNC Programmer for bending and punching is responsible for creating, optimizing, and managing CNC programs for sheet metal operations using press brake (bending) and turret punching machines to ensure accurate, efficient, and high-quality production.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC programs for sheet metal bending (press brake) and turret punching machines:
- Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and technical specifications:
- Perform nesting for punching operations to optimize material utilization
- Select appropriate tools, dies, and punching sequences:
- Set up machines and support operators during initial trials and prove-outs:
- Optimize programs for cycle time reduction and productivity improvement:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and tolerances:
- Troubleshoot issues related to programming, tooling, or machine operations:
- Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams:




- Maintain proper documentation of programs and revisions

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes:
- Experience with CNC Press Brake and Turret Punch Machines (e.g., Amada, Trumpf, LVD)
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or nesting software)
- Understanding of tooling selection and bend allowances:
- Knowledge of G-code / machine-specific programming:
- Ability to read 2D/3D drawings:
- Problem-solving and analytical skills

Qualification & Experience
- Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Experience: 3-8 years (preferred in sheet metal industry)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,238.71 - ₹40,562.71 per month
