Astellas’ Global Capability Centres - Overview

Astellas’ Global Capability Centres (GCCs) are strategically located sites that give Astellas the ability to access talent across various functions in the value chain and to co-locate core capabilities that are currently dispersed. Our three GCCs are located in India, Poland and Mexico.

The GCCs will enhance our operational efficiency, resilience and innovation potential, enabling a timely response to changing business demands.

Purpose and Scope:




The data analysis team serves as a bridge between business and technology by reporting and monitoring data, operationalizing data science and machine learning products, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement to enhance decision-making. As a data scientist, you will be responsible for partnering with corporate functions to understand their business problem, and design, implement, and maintain digital solutions using analytical, data science, and AI/ML techniques. Mostly importantly, an innovative and team-oriented mindset is needed to increase the value to patients.
