Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Purchase Engineer (Civil) to manage project billing, material procurement, vendor coordination, and cost control activities for construction projects. The role ensures accurate billing, timely procurement, and effective cost monitoring in line with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Billing
- Prepare and verify RA bills, final bills, and client invoices
- Measure and certify work quantities as per drawings and BOQs
- Coordinate with site engineers and consultants for bill approvals
- Maintain billing records, abstracts, and cost statements
- Handle variations, extra items, and reconciliation

Purchase / Procurement
- Prepare material requisitions based on project requirements
- Float enquiries, compare quotations, and prepare comparative statements
- Coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery schedules, and payments
- Issue purchase orders and track material deliveries
- Ensure material quality, quantity, and compliance with specifications

Cost Control & Coordination
- Monitor project costs and budgets




- Maintain material consumption and stock reports
- Coordinate with accounts, stores, and site teams
- Support audits and project cost reviews

Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering
- Proven experience in billing and procurement for civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of BOQs, measurements, and rate analysis
- Familiarity with construction materials and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing software
- Valuable coordination and communication skills

Preferred Skills (Optional)
- Experience with residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Understanding of contracts and tender documentation
- Ability to work in a site-based environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
