Automation Tester — Katalon Studio
Location: India (Fully Remote)
Hours: Align to Australian business hours (AEST/AEDT) with some flexibility

The opportunity
Join our remote QE team to build and maintain Katalon Studio automation for Web/API, integrate suites into CI/CD, and ship reliable, evidence-driven releases.

What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain Katalon Studio suites for Web and API (REST/SOAP).
- Implement modular components (POM, data factories), robust assertions, and test data strategies.
- Integrate automation into CI/CD (Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
- Drive defect triage with dev/BA/QA leads; produce dashboards and transparent test evidence.
- Contribute to coverage reporting, quality gates, and release readiness.

Must-have
- 3+ years in test automation with Katalon Studio (Web & API).




- Groovy/Java scripting and solid Git workflows.
- CI/CD exposure (Jenkins/GitLab/Azure DevOps).
- Test management with Jira/Xray or Azure DevOps.
- Strong understanding of HTTP, JSON/XML, and SQL.

Nice-to-have
- Mobile automation in Katalon (Appium).
- Reporting/analytics (Katalon TestOps, Allure).
- BDD/Gherkin, service virtualisation, basic performance (k6/JMeter).
- Enterprise domains: banking, retail, logistics, government.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
