Job Title: Sales Coordinator - Modern Trade Operations

Job Summary

The Sales Coordinator - Modern Trade Operations supports the Up-to-date Trade sales team by managing day-to-day operational activities, coordinating with key retail partners, ensuring smooth execution of sales processes, and maintaining accurate sales data. This role acts as a bridge between sales, supply chain, finance, and modern trade customers to drive efficient order fulfillment and sales performance.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Operations Support
- Coordinate with Modern Trade Key Account Managers to support sales planning and execution
- Process purchase orders from modern trade customers and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Track order status, deliveries, and resolve discrepancies with internal teams

Customer & Channel Coordination
- Liaise with modern trade customers (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, chain stores) for order confirmations, documentation, and follow-ups
- Support onboarding of new modern trade customers and SKUs

Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate sales records, price lists,



promotions, and customer master data
- Prepare regular sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) including sales performance, stock movement, and forecasts
- Analyze sales data to support decision-making and identify gaps or opportunities

Promotions & Trade Marketing Support
- Coordinate execution of promotions, schemes, and in-store activities with trade marketing teams
- Track promotional performance and ensure correct billing and claims management

Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with supply chain, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to ensure smooth operations
- Support invoicing, credit notes, and claims reconciliation related to modern trade accounts

Qualifications & Skills

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in sales coordination or operations, preferably in FMCG / retail
