Within the scope of Nursing Institute policies and procedures, this position
- Provides leadership and administrative oversight for faculty, staff, and programs in the areas of workforce and career education in the disciplines of Nursing;
- Evaluates and ensures quality in all aspects of instructional programs and staff;
- Engages faculty and staff participation in support of educational priorities, e.g. program development, program review, curriculum and articulation
- Initiatives, assessment of student learning outcomes and learning institute initiatives;
- Prepares program needs, analyses designed to identify unmet student needs and to recommend current initiatives designed to prepare students as lifelong learners;
- Provides day-to-day oversight of education culture to ensure a student-centered, learner-centered environment at all levels;




- Serves as spokesperson for issues pertaining to Nursing;
- Resolves student issues and complaints in a timely manner;
- Communicates and interprets policies and procedures;
- Serves as a liaison between the faculty, staff & management;
- Plans, develops, implements and evaluates educational programs and services to achieve the goals of a learning Nursing Institute;
- Develops and oversees instructional budgets, class schedules, classroom and facilities utilization and coordinates programs and services with other personnel;
- Serves on various Institute committees, advisory boards, and task forces and represents the Nursing Institute on local, regional, and state activities as needed;
- Performs related duties as assigned.
