Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to manage and oversee the company’s accounts receivable process. The AR Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely collection of payments, maintaining financial records, and supporting the finance department in optimizing cash flow.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and track accounts receivable for the organization, ensuring payments are collected promptly.
- Review and verify invoices, ensuring proper billing codes and accuracy of charges.
- Follow up on outstanding payments and resolve any billing discrepancies with clients.
- Prepare and send statements to clients for outstanding balances.




- Reconcile customer accounts and report any discrepancies to management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date AR records in financial software.
- Communicate with customers regarding overdue payments and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
- Collaborate with the finance and billing teams to address any account-related issues.
- Prepare weekly/monthly AR aging reports for review by management.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures related to accounts receivable.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or finance roles.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (experience with healthcare or medical billing software is a plus).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
