Role Summary

The 3D Printing & Rapid Prototyping Lead will manage and optimize additive manufacturing processes for drone structures, components, and mounting solutions, ensuring functional, lightweight, and flight-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and fabricate drone frames, arms, mounts, and structural components using 3D printing
- Select appropriate materials (PLA, PETG, ABS, Nylon, etc.) based on strength, weight, and vibration considerations
- Optimize print orientation, infill, and tolerances for flight durability
- Redesign components based on real-world flight feedback and failures
- Maintain and manage 3D printers and prototyping workflow
- Support rapid iteration cycles for drone development projects
- Mentor students in practical prototyping and manufacturing techniques

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with FDM 3D printing




- Deep understanding of material properties and structural behavior
- Experience designing parts specifically for dynamic loads and vibration environments
- Ability to troubleshoot print failures and structural weaknesses
- CAD experience for functional part design

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on drones, robotics, or aerospace-related prototypes
- Knowledge of lightweight structural design principles
- Familiarity with iterative engineering workflows

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
