nKey responsibilities
nLevel: Senior IC + Design Strategist + People Lead | Experience: 6–10 years
nAbout the role
nOwn the end-to-end design language, experience across the web platform and mobile app (everything from onboarding and policy purchase to claims and renewals). You are the design authority for the core product surface, bridging product, engineering, and data to ship experiences adhering to the design strategy/principles set by the digital team. Owns at least 2 of the categories (like health/motor/travel/home/SME) and has positive knowledge of working with design systems.

- Lead end-to-end design for complex flows — quoting engine, KYC, claims FNOL, renewal nudges, self-service portaln




- Translate product and business product requirements (also IRDAI regulatory constraints) into user-friendly, compliant interfacesn
- Commission and conduct user research (usability tests, diary studies, intercept surveys) and synthesize into actionable briefsn
- Strong understanding of how data can enhance/enable design decisions and experiencen
- Partner with engineering on detailed handoff specs; QA shipped features against design intentn
- Mentor 2–3 junior/mid designers; run weekly design critique sessionsn
- Collaborate with data and growth teams to run A/B tests on key conversion points (quote → purchase, renewal CTAs)n
- Present design rationale to executive stakeholders clearly and confidentlyn
