L1 – MySQL / PostgreSQL DBA
nLocation: Turbhe, Navi Mumbai
nExperience: 1–3 years
nCoverage: 9×6 with escalation support
nJob Overview
nResponsible for day-to-day administration and operational support of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases across DEV, UAT, Staging, PROD and DR environments.
nKey Responsibilities

- Monitor database health, availability, storage, performance and alerts.n
- Perform backup, restore and restore-drill activities.n
- Monitor replication and support basic troubleshooting.n
- Perform user/role management and periodic access reviews.n
- Support database patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.n
- Execute approved database scripts during releases.n
- Perform housekeeping, maintenance and archival activities.n
- Support basic performance troubleshooting and query-related issues.n




- Coordinate with application, server, network and vendor teams.n
- Prepare operational, capacity and service reports.n
- Ensure SLA, audit, security and RBI policy compliance.n
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks and knowledge documentation.n
- Support DR drills, preventive maintenance and RCA activities.n
- Follow Incident, Problem, Change and Service Request Management processes.n

nTechnical Skills
nMySQL, PostgreSQL, Database Administration, Backup & Restore, Replication, Database Monitoring, SQL, User & Access Management, Performance Monitoring, Linux Basics, ITSM/Ticketing Tools
nPreferred: ITIL Foundation / Basic scripting knowledge
