- Ability to lead and manage a team comprising Junior and Senior 3D Designers along with 2D Designers.n
- Solid understanding of project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.n
- Proven capability to guide, mentor, and direct the design team towards achieving project objectives efficiently.n
- Hands-on experience in 3D design and 2D drafting using Unigraphics (NX) or SolidWorks, with expertise in Modeling, Surfacing, Drafting, and Assembly Design.n
- Sound knowledge of plastic product design and development.n
- Extensive experience in designing household and consumer plastic products such as casseroles, tiffins, jugs, jars, containers, water bottles, buckets, stools, PET bottles, and thermoware products.n
- Basic understanding of plastic product tooling and mold design concepts.n
- Good knowledge of plastic materials, their properties, applications,



and selection criteria.n
- Understanding of common plastic manufacturing defects and their corrective actions.n
- Basic knowledge of sheet metal products, manufacturing processes, and tooling.n
- Proficient in creating and interpreting 2D engineering drawings, with working knowledge of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).n
- Ability to prepare and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).n
- Familiarity with standard measuring instruments and inspection techniques.n
- Knowledge of reverse engineering methodologies for plastic products.n
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.n
