Role Description The AP Physics Mentor will deliver engaging online tutoring sessions to high school students preparing for AP Physics exams. This part-time, remote role involves planning and conducting virtual lessons, explaining complex physics concepts in an accessible way, and guiding learners through problem-solving techniques and exam-style questions. The mentor will assess student understanding, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.



Additional responsibilities include maintaining clear communication with students and guardians, tracking progress, and recommending study plans and resources to support ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
Strong command of AP Physics curriculum, including mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, and up-to-date physics.
Ability to explain complex concepts clearly, use real-world examples, and guide students through step-by-step problem-solving.
Experience with online teaching or tutoring platforms and comfort using digital tools for virtual instruction.
Effective communication skills, patience, and an encouraging mentoring style that supports diverse learners.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, or a related field; prior experience preparing students for AP exams is preferred.
