- Execute all design and engineering activities within the company. N
- Play significant role in current designs from the concept stage to the development of prototypes through to finished products ready for manufacture N
- Ensure design projects are completed on time and within budget. N
- Implement design processes andbest practices to improve efficiency and quality. N
- Collaborate withother departments to ensuredesign requirements are met. N
- Conduct research and development to stay current with industry advancements. N
- Maintain design and engineering documentation. N
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. N
- Create a range of 3D models for a few proposal/production and development systems, products, and components using CAD N
- Responsibility for the handling of all design and engineering documentation including Request forDesign freeze/release, DesignFailure N
- Mode Effect Analysis (DFMEA), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), DesignVerification/Product Validation (DV & PV) testing. N
- Present design, costs, changes and budgetary information effectively to senior members and customers and provide regular progress updates N
- Liaise closely with alldepartments to fully understand design requirements N
- Manage customer relationships and handle customer inquiries related to design anddevelopment. N
- Provide technical support to manufacturing, salesand customer servicedepartments. N
