Job Purpose

nTo ensure the factory's compliance with all applicable legal, statutory, regulatory, and corporate requirements while managing relationships with government authorities, regulatory agencies, local bodies, and external stakeholders. The role is responsible for legal risk management, license management, litigation support, contract review, and effective liaisoning to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.

nKey Responsibilities
nLegal Compliance Management

- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements related to factory operations.n
- Monitor changes in legal and regulatory provisions and advise management on implications.n
- Develop and maintain compliance calendars and statutory registers.n
- Conduct periodic compliance audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.n

nFactory & Industrial Compliance

- n
- Ensure compliance under Factories Act, Labour Laws, Environmental Regulations, Industrial Safety requirements, and other applicable statutes.n




- Coordinate inspections conducted by government departments and regulatory bodies.n
- Facilitate renewal of licenses, registrations, approvals, and statutory certifications.n
- Maintain legal records, permits, notices, and statutory documentation.n

nLiaisoning & Government Relations

- Build and maintain effective relationships with government departments, local authorities, industrial development agencies, and regulatory bodies.n
- Represent the organization during official meetings, inspections, and compliance reviews.n
- Liaise with departments such as Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board, Labour Department, Fire Department, Electricity Board, Local Administration, and Industrial Authorities.n
- Obtain necessary approvals, NOCs, registrations, and permissions required for plant operations and expansion projects.n
