Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally / Tally Prime.
- Perform voucher entries including sales, purchase, receipt, payment, journal, and contra entries.
- Prepare and maintain sales and purchase invoices.
- Maintain proper books of accounts, ledgers, and supporting documents.
- Handle GST-related accounting and compliance.
- Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns.
- Calculate and account for TDS deductions.
- Prepare and file TDS Returns and maintain TDS records.
- Handle PTRC and Professional Tax (PT) related compliance and payments.
- Assist with ROC-related compliance and documentation.
- Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Maintain records of outstanding payments and collections.
- Prepare necessary reports and statements for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, vendors, and internal departments.
- Ensure timely completion of statutory payments and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Support senior management/accounting team during audits and financial closing.
Required Skills & Knowledge
- 2+ years of experience in accounting.
- Robust working knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime.
- Practical knowledge of GST and GST return filing.
- Hands-on experience in TDS and TDS Return Filing.
- Knowledge of PTRC / Professional Tax (PT).
- Basic knowledge of ROC compliance and filings.
- Good knowledge of invoice preparation and voucher entries.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Ability to meet statutory deadlines.
