Roles and Responsibility
- Operate and maintain blood bank equipment, including centrifuges and ph meters.
- Collect, label, and process blood samples from donors.
- Perform tests on blood samples to ensure safety and quality.
- Maintain accurate records of blood donations and transfusions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Robust knowledge of blood group systems and blood products.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems and software.
Qualification
- Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a blood bank setting.
