Accounts Manager - Job Description

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the company.
- Prepare and maintain books of accounts, ledgers, vouchers, and financial records.
- Handle GST, TDS, income tax compliances, and statutory filings.
- Manage project accounting, billing, reconciliation, and fund flow monitoring.
- Coordinate with banks for issuance and management of Bank Guarantees (BG), Letters of Credit (LC), overdraft facilities, and other banking instruments.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and financial planning for ongoing projects.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, profitability analysis, and management reports.
- Handle vendor payments, client reconciliations, and receivables management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, audit requirements, and government regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, bankers, and government departments.




- Support tender documentation related to financial eligibility and banking requirements.
- Supervise accounting staff and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or Accounting.
- Preferred Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant) or CMA.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in accounts and finance, preferably in infrastructure, EPC, or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, auditing, and financial compliance.
- Hands-on experience in handling LC, BG, project finance, and banking operations.
- Proficiency in Tally, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple financial operations under strict timelines.
