This role sits within Deltatre's Video team, building and operating the end-to-end video infrastructure that delivers live and on-demand content for major sports rights owners, broadcasters, and media companies worldwide. The team's pipelines handle the full path from source signal to consumer device — encoding, packaging, delivery, and the integrations that connect them.

As a Senior Video Engineer, you will focus on the backend engineering of these pipelines: designing, scripting, and maintaining the workflows that run on cloud infrastructure. The work spans the AWS Elemental stack (MediaLive, MediaConnect, MediaPackage, MediaConvert), CDN configuration, DRM integration, and the automation that keeps the platform deployable and operable at scale.

Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and validate end-to-end video pipelines in cloud environments
- Develop and maintain scripts that automate video pipeline deployment, updates, and configuration changes




- Configure and manage backend systems and video-related products — the work requires light development as well as configuration
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, working across multiple vendors and stack components
- Document and own the technical architecture of large-scale video implementations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Operations, Client teams) to deliver clean integrations
- Develop deep knowledge of Deltatre's video products and services over time

You produce work that others can build on. You take ownership of features from design to production, and you treat video infrastructure as a craft — not only a delivery target. You make decisions that hold up under live event load, and you document them clearly enough that the team can use them after you have moved to the next problem.
