Job Title: Video Editor (Entry-Level / Simple News Format)Job Overview

If you know how to cut out dead air, add clean text overlays, and find appropriate b-roll footage quickly, this role is for you. No complex 3D tracking or heavy VFX required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Software Proficiency: Experience with basic editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut Desktop, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro).
- Pacing Awareness: An understanding of how to keep a news video moving so the viewer doesn't lose interest.
- Organization: Ability to manage assets (audio, footage, graphics) and meet tight daily or weekly deadlines.
- Attention to Detail: Good grammar and spelling for text overlays and automated subtitle corrections.

Preferred (But Not Required)
- Experience making content specifically for news, tech, or explanatory channels.
- Access to a stock footage library (e.g., Storyblocks, Envato Elements).
