Clinical Responsibilities
- Examine and assess patients in OPD and IPD
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition regularly
- Prepare and update treatment plans as advised by consultants
- Assist consultants during rounds and procedures
- Handle medical emergencies and provide first aid management
- Prescribe medicines as per hospital policy and consultant advice
- Ensure proper documentation in patient case sheets
Panchakarma & Therapy Coordination
- Coordinate with therapists for scheduled treatments
- Verify treatment orders before therapies
- Monitor patients during and after Panchakarma procedures
- Report any adverse reactions or complications immediately
Patient Care
- Explain treatment procedures and dietary advice to patients
- Counsel patients regarding lifestyle modifications
- Ensure patient safety and infection control practices
- Maintain patient confidentiality
Documentation & Records
- Maintain accurate clinical records and progress notes
- Complete admission, discharge, and referral documentation
- Record medication administration and treatment details
- Ensure NABH documentation compliance
Administrative Responsibilities
- Attend duty shifts as per roster
- Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments
- Participate in hospital meetings, audits, and training programs
- Follow biomedical waste management and safety protocols
