ROLE- Chat support executive: Sales & Customer Engagement

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Chat Support Executive to be the first point of contact for potential customers visiting our website. You will handle inbound sales enquiries via live chat, guide customers through our product/service offerings, resolve their queries, and assist in converting leads into successful orders. When required, you will seamlessly transition conversations to a phone call to ensure the best customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond promptly and professionally to inbound sales enquiries received via website chat.

Understand customer requirements, address doubts, and provide accurate product/service information.

Guide customers through the order placement process and ensure a smooth buying experience.

Engage customers on call when required to further clarify, negotiate, and close orders effectively.

Build rapport with potential customers, understand their needs, and offer suitable solutions to drive conversions.





Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, enquiries, and order details in the CRM system.

Meet daily/weekly targets for response time, lead conversion, and customer satisfaction scores.

Collaborate with the sales and operations team to ensure seamless order fulfillment post-conversion.

REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Strong negotiation and persuasion skills

Prior experience in chat support, telesales, or customer service preferred

Comfortable handling customer calls when required

Quick typing speed with high accuracy

Basic knowledge of CRM tools and order management systems

Patient, empathetic, and solution-oriented approach

Ability to multitask and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously
