Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer for an MEP company to handle electrical system design, preparation of drawings, load calculations, BOQ preparation, and coordination with clients, consultants, and project teams for commercial, residential, industrial, and IT building projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical design drawings for:
- LT & HT systems
- Lighting systems
- Power distribution systems
- Earthing & lightning protection systems
- UPS & DG power systems
- Fire alarm & ELV systems
- Perform:
- Electrical load calculations
- Voltage drop calculations
- Cable sizing calculations
- Short circuit calculations
- Prepare:
- Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Shop drawings
- As-built drawings
- BOQ & material specifications
- Coordinate with:
- HVAC team
- Plumbing & Firefighting team




- Architects & structural consultants
- Clients and site execution teams
- Ensure compliance with:
- NBC standards
- IS standards
- Local electrical regulations
- Safety requirements
- Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
- Support estimation and project execution teams during project lifecycle.
- Attend client meetings and site inspections when required.

- Knowledge of:
- Electrical design standards
- MEP coordination

- Software Knowledge:
- AutoCAD
- Revit MEP
- Dialux
- MS Office
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Qualification
- BE / B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Experience
- 2 to 8 years of experience in MEP electrical design projects.
