- Position Overview:
The Special Educator will support learners by designing and implementing individualized learning plans, collaborating closely with teachers and parents, and fostering an inclusive learning environment aligned with IB philosophy and practices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess students requiring additional learning support.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted intervention strategies.
- Work collaboratively with homeroom teachers and specialists to adapt curriculum and classroom practices.
- Support students with diverse learning needs through individual and small-group interventions.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
- Partner with parents to provide regular updates and guidance on student development.
- Promote an inclusive culture and advocate for differentiated instruction across classrooms.




- Participate in professional development and school initiatives aligned with the IB framework.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education:
- Relevant certification/diploma in Special Education is mandatory.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience working with young learners (Nursery to Grade 6), preferably in an IB/international school setting.
- Robust understanding of inclusive education practices and differentiated instruction.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for supporting diverse learners and helping every child thrive.

Preferred Skills:
- Experience with early intervention and primary years support.
- Familiarity with learning support frameworks in IB PYP schools.
- Strong documentation and parent engagement skills.
