Key Responsibilities

1. On-Page Optimization
- Conducting keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to find high-traffic, low-competition terms.
- Optimizing website elements including Meta Titles, Meta Descriptions, Header Tags (H1-H6), and Alt Text for images.
- Assisting in content creation by providing SEO guidelines to writers and ensuring keyword density remains natural.

2. Off-Page & Link Building
- Identifying opportunities for high-quality backlinks through guest posting, directory submissions, and resource pages.
- Assisting in competitor backlink analysis to identify potential link-building prospects.
- Monitoring the website’s backlink profile to identify and disavow "spammy" links.

3. Technical SEO Support
- Performing basic site audits to identify issues like broken links (404 errors), slow page speeds, and mobile responsiveness.
- Ensuring the XML Sitemap and Robots.txt files are properly configured for search engine crawling.
- Collaborating with web developers to implement technical fixes.

4. Reporting & Analytics




- Monitoring website performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console.
- Tracking keyword rankings and organic traffic growth on a weekly/monthly basis.
- Compiling data for performance reports to demonstrate ROI and progress to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Basic understanding of how search engines work (Crawling, Indexing, and Ranking).
- Tools: Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and basic SEO tools (e.g., Moz, Ubersuggest).
- Soft Skills: Robust analytical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent written communication skills.
- Technical: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress is a plus.
