JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB OVERVIEW:
The role is responsible for managing the end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to streamline financial processes while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)

Perform end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) operations, ensuring accurate and timely invoice processing and vendor payments.

Perform vendor invoice verification, including 2-way/3-way matching (Invoice, PO, GRN), and support payment approvals.

Ensure accurate invoice coding, expense tracking, and adherence to financial policies.

Prepare and execute payment batches (ACH, wire transfers, checks) and optimize payment schedules.

Handle T&E; (Travel & Expense) processes, including verification of expense receipts and accurate booking in the system.

Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely resolution of outstanding liabilities.

Handle vendor reconciliations,



resolve discrepancies, and maintain effective vendor relationships.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Compliance & Audit

Ensure adherence to internal controls and US GAAP standards.

Support internal and external audits related to AP processes. Collaboration

Work cross-functionally with procurement, operations teams to ensure smooth operations and alignment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience in Accounts Payable and accounts management.

Strong knowledge of US accounting processes and US GAAP.

Experience with ERP systems Quantum would be an advantage.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective Soft skills (verbal & written comms.) and stakeholder management skills.
