Machine Operator & Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Machine Operator with basic mechanical and electrical knowledge to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot food processing equipment.

This role is critical to ensure smooth production, mínimal machine downtime, and consistent product quality in our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities1. Machine Operation
- Operate production machines (mixers, grinders, dryers, packaging machines, etc.)
- Set up machines before production (calibration, settings, cleaning checks)
- Monitor machine performance during production runs
- Ensure output meets required quality and consistency standards

2. Preventive Maintenance
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly machine maintenance checks:
- Lubrication, tightening, cleaning, and inspection of machine parts
- Maintain maintenance logs and checklists
- Identify wear and tear before breakdown occurs

3. Troubleshooting & Repairs




- Diagnose basic mechanical issues (belts, motors, bearings, alignment)
- Handle basic electrical issues (wiring, switches, sensors, control panels)
- Coordinate with external technicians for major repairs
- Ensure mínimal machine downtime

4. Hygiene & Food Safety Compliance
- Follow FSSAI and food safety SOPs:
- Ensure machines are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Prevent contamination risks during production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

5. Production Support
- Assist with batch preparation and material handling
- Support recent product trials
- Ensure correct loading and unloading of raw materials

6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain machine logs and maintenance records
- Record breakdown reports
- Report recurring issues and improvement suggestions
