Role Summary

The Interior Designer will lead and support the design and detailing of residential and commercial interior projects from concept through to execution, with a strong focus on functional planning, technical drawings, and site coordination. You will translate client and developer requirements into practical, buildable interior solutions that balance aesthetics, functionality, and budget. Your work will directly impact reduction of rework, cost control, and the standardization of site processes across multiple units and projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop concept designs, space plans, and mood boards for residential and commercial interiors based on client briefs, developer standards, and project budgets.
- Prepare complete sets of 2D working drawings for interiors, including plans, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, false ceiling layouts, flooring patterns, electrical and plumbing point layouts, and detailed joinery drawings.
- Coordinate closely with in-house architects,



project managers, site engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve design-related issues during execution and ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
- Prepare interior BOQs/quantities, basic material specifications, and assist in value engineering to achieve cost-effective yet high-quality finishes and details.
- Integrate basic MEP requirements (lighting, HVAC outlets, plumbing points) into interior layouts and coordinate with MEP consultants/contractors for clash-free execution.
- Conduct periodic site visits to review work progress, check workmanship and finishes, address in office design clarifications, and minimize rework through clear drawings and timely decisions.
- Support client and developer presentations with 2D/3D visuals, material boards, and design narratives, and manage design iterations professionally within agreed timelines.
