Electrical BIM Modelling
- Develop and manage detailed electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.
- Model electrical systems including conduits, cable trays, panels, lighting, equipment, and power distribution
systems.
- Ensure models meet project LOD requirements (LOD 300-400).
- Generate shop drawings and coordinated layouts from BIM models.
BIM Coordination
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings with clients and consultants.
- Resolve design conflicts and ensure clashnfree coordinated models.
- Maintain coordination logs and issue tracking.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise a team of BIM modelers and engineers.
- Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training.
- Ensure team deliverables meet BIM standards.
Project Management Support
- Coordinate with project managers and BIM managers.
- Support preparation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
- Track project progress and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with client BIM standards.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 5+ years experience in Electrical BIM modelling and coordination.
Strong expertise in Autodesk Revit (Electrical) and Navisworks.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and conduit layouts.
Experience with BIM workflows, LOD standards, and construction documentation.
Ability to lead teams and manage multiple project deliverables.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Experience working on USAnbased BIM projects.
Familiarity with NEC (National Electrical Code).
Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud or BIM 360.
Knowledge of Revit families for electrical equipment.
