We are seeking an individual with strong expertise in storage and system administration skills in IT Infrastructure field. This role will be responsible for administration and improving our storage environment, as well as provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Also, they need to participate in research and development to drive innovation and efficiency within IT infrastructure.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility: Manage MACOM’s Storage infrastructure and related services.
- Secondary responsibility: Manage MACOM’s Windows / *nix systems.
- Handle day-to-day data center operations.




- Provide technical recommendations for services performance and reliability improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Configure and maintain storage infrastructure providing optimal availability, performance, and best practices
- Managing and administrating storage systems like Netapp, EMC, Nutanix, Data Domain and QNAP platforms
- Advanced troubleshooting of common block/file protocols, including iSCSI, NFS, CIFS
- Evaluate performance, monitor workloads, and analyze results to ensure optimal operations
- Maintain platform and procedural documentation
- Lead/coordinate projects including current installations, upgrades, retrofits, etc.
- Develop and improve operational procedures and standards

Required qualities / skills:
- Intermediate to advanced storage administration skills.
- Intermediate to advanced system administration skills ( Windows or Linux )
- Hands-on knowledge of NetApp, EMC, Nutanix, Data Domain and QNAP s
