The role involves to oversee day-to-day API production operations, ensure compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements, and prepare accurate and timely MIS (Management Information System) reports to support decision-making. for both Vizag and Dahej Location.
Key Responsibilities
Collect and compile data from Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Inventory, Procurement, Sales, and Regulatory Affairs.
Ensure accurate data entry and system integration (ERP, SAP).
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reportsfor:
Batch production status
Inventory of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
Machine and manpower utilization
Quality metrics, deviations, and trends
Support regulatory compliance and audit readinessthrough timely and accurate documentation.
Automate and streamline reporting processes using advanced Excel tools or ERP dashboards.
Maintain MIS databases, ensure consistency, version control, and data backups.
Troubleshoot ERP/MIS-related issues in coordination with IT and vendors.
Conduct user training on MIS tools, dashboards, and reporting best practices.
Additional Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify gaps and improve data accuracy.
Support production planning through real-time MIS insights.
Provide ad-hoc reports and analysis to management for decision support.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiativesin MIS reporting and data management.
Act as a key support resource during internal and external audits.
B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
Skills:
Robust understanding of pharmaceutical production processesand compliance standards.
Hands-on expertise in ERP systems(SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel.
Good knowledge of data visualization & reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau preferred).
Strong communication, analytical, and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
