Job Summary:
The PW Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining the Purified Water System in a pharmaceutical plant, ensuring water quality meets GMP, WHO, and regulatory standards for production use.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor Purified Water (PW), RO, EDI, and DM systems:
- Ensure water quality complies with GMP, WHO, and pharmacopeia standards (USP/BP/IP):
- Monitor critical parameters like conductivity, pH, TOC, flow, pressure, and temperature:
- Maintain logbooks, batch records, and daily reports as per GMP guidelines
- Perform routine sanitization (hot/cold loop) of PW systems
- Handle CIP (Cleaning In Place) and system flushing activities
- Assist in validation, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) of water systems
- Coordinate with QA/QC for sampling and testing of water:
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues and inform maintenance team
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety norms, and audit requirements





Skills & Requirements:
- Robust knowledge of pharma water systems (PW/WFI):
- Understanding of GMP, documentation practices (GDP):
- Familiarity with RO, EDI, UV, Ozonation systems:
- Basic troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge
- Ability to work in cleanroom environment

Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical
- Experience: 1-3 years in pharmaceutical company (water system)

Work Location:
- Pharma Manufacturing Plant (e.g., Ahmedabad, Sanand, Virochanagar)
