Job Description: Security Guard (Day & Night Shift)
Location: Doctor’s Clinic & Residence
Position Type: Full time (Day / Night Shift)
Role Summary
The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and smooth functioning of the doctor’s clinic and private residence. The guard will monitor entry and exit, maintain discipline in the premises, and provide assistance to staff and patients/visitors while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities1. Security & Surveillance
- Monitor and control entry and exit of patients, visitors, staff, and delivery personnel.
- Maintain visitor logbook and verify identification when required.
- Conduct regular patrol rounds of clinic and residential premises.
- Monitor CCTV cameras (if installed) and report any suspicious activity immediately.
- Ensure gates and access points are properly secured during night hours.
2. Clinic Duties (Day Shift)
- Maintain queue discipline and manage crowd during peak OPD hours.
- Assist elderly or physically challenged patients when required.
- Coordinate with reception staff for smooth patient flow.
- Prevent unauthorized access to consultation rooms and restricted areas.
3. Residence Duties (Night Shift / 24-hr Coverage)
- Ensure complete perimeter security of the residence.
- Screen unknown visitors and deliveries.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations (medical, fire, theft, etc.).
- Inform doctor or designated family member immediately in case of any unusual activity.
4. Emergency Handling
- Act quickly during fire, theft, medical emergencies, or disturbances.
- Coordinate with local authorities (Police/Fire) when required.
- Maintain emergency contact list and basic incident reporting record.
5. Professional Conduct
- Maintain polite and respectful behavior with patients and residents.
- Wear proper uniform and maintain personal hygiene.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding clinic and residential matters.
