- The GM - Corporate Affairs will be responsible for shaping and protecting the organization’s external reputation while enabling business growth through effective government engagement, regulatory strategy, stakeholder management, and corporate positioning. The role requires balancing strategic foresight with execution excellence to navigate complex regulatory environments and influence policy outcomes aligned with organizational priorities.

Strategic Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the corporate affairs strategy aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Monitor emerging regulatory and policy developments; assess business impact and recommend proactive interventions.
- Build the organization’s voice in industry forums, chambers of commerce, and policy platforms.
- Advise leadership on geopolitical, regulatory,



and socio-economic developments affecting operations.
- Drive thought leadership initiatives to enhance brand credibility and corporate positioning.

Operational Responsibilities:
- Establish structured engagement models with government bodies, regulators, and industry associations.
- Ensure organizational compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
- Lead crisis preparedness and response related to regulatory or public policy issues.
- Oversee preparation of policy representations, consultation responses, and regulatory submissions.
- Institutionalize governance frameworks for external communications impacting corporate reputation.

Financial Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the Corporate Affairs budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
