Job Summary

A reputed hotel in Bengaluru is hiring a Commis I - Bakery to support bakery operations. The role involves assisting in preparation of baked goods, maintaining quality and hygiene standards, and supporting daily kitchen activities.

Also known as: Baker / Bakery Cook / Commis (Bakery Section)

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of bakery items such as bread, pastries, cakes, and desserts.
- Support senior chefs in daily bakery operations.
- Perform mise-en-place and basic baking preparations.
- Ensure consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bakery section.
- Follow food safety standards and kitchen SOPs.
- Assist in proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
- Support buffet, banquet,



and à la carte dessert requirements.

Skills & Requirements
- Basic knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Willingness to learn and develop bakery skills.
- Attention to detail in preparation and presentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior bakery or hotel kitchen experience is an advantage; freshers may also apply.
