Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting for the food and beverage division, including balance sheet reconciliation, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections while maintaining accuracy.
- Conduct detailed account analysis and account reconciliation using accounting software such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements including SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and governmental regulations.
- Perform general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and month-end closing procedures.
- Lead budgeting efforts by preparing forecasts, variance analysis, and financial management reports to support operational decision-making.
- Monitor cash management activities to optimize liquidity while maintaining strict control over payroll processing and other disbursements.




- Maintain rigorous internal controls to uphold accounting integrity and support audit readiness for non-profit or public sector entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial concepts such as cost control, revenue optimization, and financial analysis to enhance overall performance.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting roles with a focus on corporate or governmental accounting environments; experience in non-profit or public accounting is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of regulatory standards including SOX compliance, IFRS, GAAP, and governmental reporting requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial report writing, account reconciliation (including balance sheet reconciliation), and account analysis.
- Proficiency with multiple accounting software platforms such as Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or similar tools; familiarity with financial management sys
