The Microbiologist is responsible for performing laboratory tests to identify microorganisms, ensuring accurate diagnosis, supporting infection control practices, and maintaining quality standards in the laboratory.
- Perform microbiological testing of clinical samples (blood, urine, sputum, pus, etc.)
- Conduct culture, identification, and antibiotic sensitivity testing
- Analyze and interpret laboratory results accurately
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting of test results
- Ensure adherence to laboratory quality standards (NABL/NABH protocols)
- Monitor and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Follow biosafety and infection control guidelines strictly
- Assist in preparation of antibiograms and infection surveillance data
- Coordinate with doctors and clinical staff for patient diagnosis and treatment support
- Supervise lab technicians and ensure proper workflow (for senior roles)
- Participate in audits, quality improvement, and accreditation processes

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
