Job Summary

The Executive - Payment Posting will be responsible for accurate and timely posting of insurance and patient payments in Athena, ensuring reconciliation of EOBs/ERAs, identifying posting variances, and maintaining compliance with client and organizational quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Post insurance payments, patient payments, adjustments, and refunds:
- Work on ERA and manual EOB posting with high accuracy
- Identify and report underpayments, overpayments, and posting discrepancies:
- Reconcile posted payments with bank deposits and remittance reports:
- Handle rejections related to payment posting and coordinate with AR teams when required
- Ensure adherence to payer-specific guidelines and client SOPs:
- Maintain productivity and quality benchmarks as defined by the organization




- Support audits and provide clarification on posted transactions when required
- Follow HIPAA and compliance standards at all times

Required Skills & Competencies
- Positive understanding of US healthcare revenue cycle and payment workflows
- Ability to read and interpret EOBs and ERAs:
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD, and modifier basics (posting perspective)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills
- Ability to meet daily productivity targets:
- Basic knowledge of denial reasons related to payments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
