We are looking for a motivated, goal-oriented Entry-Level Freight Broker to join our growing logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in transportation and sales. No prior freight brokerage experience is required — we provide training and mentorship to help you succeed.
As a Freight Broker, you will connect shippers who need to move freight with reliable carriers who can transport it safely and efficiently. This is a fast-paced, high-energy role with strong earning potential.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the fundamentals of freight brokerage and logistics operations
- Prospect and develop new shipper relationships through calls and outreach
- Build and maintain relationships with trucking carriers
- Negotiate freight rates with shippers and carriers
- Coordinate and track shipments from pickup to delivery
- Resolve any issues that arise during transport
- Maintain accurate records in our Transportation Management System (TMS)
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable making outbound calls (sales-oriented mindset)
- Self-motivated and competitive
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
