VMC Operator - Job Description

Position: VMC Operator

Experience: 3 to 10 years

Industry: Manufacturing / Bearings / Precision Components

Location: Rajkot, Gujarat

Key Responsibilities

Operate and set up VMC (Vertical Machining Center) machines.

Read drawings and understand geometric tolerances.

Perform zero setting, tool setting, fixture setting, and work offset setting.

Monitor machine operations & adjust parameters for accuracy.

Carry out basic program modification (Fanuc / Siemens controls).

Inspect components using standard measuring instruments.

Ensure first-piece approval and maintain dimensional accuracy.

Maintain machine cleanliness, daily checklist, and production entry.





Work closely with programming and quality teams.

Follow safety, 5S, and quality standards.

Requirements:
ITI / Diploma in machining or mechanical trade.

Minimum 1 year experience in VMC operations.

Understanding of tooling, cutting parameters & machining strategy.

Ability to handle jigs, fixtures & precision components.

Shift flexibility.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
