Position: Housekeeping Supervisor

Industry: Food Manufacturing / Processing

Location: Near Ojhar, New Airport Road, Nashik

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise day-to-day housekeeping activities in production, utility, warehouse, office, and common areas:
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation as per food industry norms
- Prepare and implement daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules

Food Safety & Hygiene Compliance
- Ensure housekeeping practices comply with GMP, GHP, HACCP, FSSAI requirements
- Maintain proper cleaning and sanitation records and checklists
- Ensure correct usage, dilution, and storage of cleaning chemicals

Manpower Supervision
- Manage and supervise housekeeping staff and contract workers
- Allocate duties, monitor attendance, and ensure discipline on the shop floor
- Train housekeeping staff on hygiene, sanitation, safety, and SOPs

Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, Maintenance, and HR teams
- Report hygiene gaps, pest sightings, spillages, and non-conformities




- Support internal, customer, and statutory audits related to housekeeping

Safety & Pest Control Support
- Ensure safe handling of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment
- Coordinate with pest control agencies and ensure compliance with pest control schedules
- Follow safety norms and ensure PPE usage by housekeeping staff

Qualification
- Minimum SSC / HSC:
- Diploma or certification in housekeeping or hygiene will be an added advantage

Experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience in housekeeping supervision
- Prior experience in Food Manufacturing / FMCG / Pharma industry preferred

Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of food safety hygiene practices:
- Good team handling and supervisory skills
- Ability to maintain records and follow SOPs
- Basic communication and coordination skills

Other Requirements
- Willing to work in shifts, if required
- Must be open to working near Ojhar - Recent Airport Road
