Chess Gaja, founded by Grandmaster Priyadharshan Kannappan, is a global online chess academy with students from 40+ countries. We are on a mission to make world-class chess education accessible and engaging through a high-performance digital presence.

We are looking for a Website & SEO Operations Associate (Fresher) who is hungry to learn and proactive by nature. If you are looking to do the bare minimum, this is not the place for you. We provide access to cutting-edge latest tools and direct mentorship for someone ready to build and maintain a global digital brand.

THE ABSOLUTE NECESSITY: CHESS KNOWLEDGE

You will be the "Technical Chess Brain" of our web team. To manage a chess website effectively, you must understand the game to ensure every diagram, blog post, and landing page is accurate. Applications without a proven rating will not be reviewed.

Mandatory Blitz Rating Requirement:
- Lichess: 1300+

Role Overview
- Position: Website & SEO Operations Associate
- Work Type: Remote (Work from Home)
- Working Hours: Monday-Saturday, 9 AM - 6 PM IST




- Reporting To: Senior UI/UX Team Member

Salary & Compensation
- Associate (Fresher): Rs. 17,000 - 19,000 per month (For high-potential freshers)
- Note on Retention Bonus: A component of the monthly salary is accrued as a retention bonus and paid out as a lump sum annually upon completion of each year of service.

The Learning Curve & Tech Stack

This role is a digital operations bootcamp. You will work closely with the senior team to learn the ropes of web management and SEO:
- Development: Master WordPress and Elementor to build high-converting pages.
- SEO Suite: Learn to use Semrush, Google Search Console, and RankMath/Yoast to drive organic growth.
- Design & Assets: Use Canva and Figma to manage web assets and optimize them for speed.
- AI Integration: Leverage ChatGPT and Gemini to automate content formatting and SEO meta-data generation.
