Key Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Compliance
- Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems (QMS) across the plant.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Food Safety Act, and applicable statutory requirements.
- Maintain and update quality manuals, SOPs, work instructions, and records.
- Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory standards.

Food Safety & HACCP
- Lead the HACCP, GMP, GHP, and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Identify food safety hazards and establish preventive and corrective actions.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and validation activities.
- Monitor CCPs and ensure effective implementation.

Audits & Certifications
- Plan and handle internal, external, and customer audits.
- Lead certifications such as ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000 / BRC / IFS / ISO 9001 (as applicable).
- Coordinate with certification bodies and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
- Prepare audit reports and implement CAPA.

Quality Control & Testing
- Oversee raw material, in-process, and finished goods quality control.
- Ensure proper sampling,



testing, and analysis of chilli paste, sauces, and other food pastes.
- Monitor microbiological, chemical, and sensory parameters.
- Approve or reject materials and products based on quality standards.

Vendor & Raw Material Quality
- Evaluate and approve raw material suppliers.
- Conduct supplier audits and manage incoming material quality.
- Ensure traceability of raw materials and finished products.

Documentation & Traceability
- Maintain batch records, COAs, deviation reports, and quality logs.
- Ensure product traceability and recall management systems are in place.
- Handle customer complaints, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Team Management & Training
- Lead and develop the QA/QC team.
- Conduct food safety and hygiene training for production and warehouse staff.
- Promote a robust quality and food safety culture across the organization.
