Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Handle sample collection, labeling, processing, and storage with accuracy.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Ensure proper documentation of test results and maintain laboratory records.
- Follow quality control procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety within the laboratory.
- Coordinate with doctors, pathologists, and other healthcare staff for timely reporting.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or abnormal findings to the concerned authority.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
- Ability to work efficiently during night shifts.
- Good analytical and observation skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Basic computer knowledge for data entry and reporting.
- Positive communication skills.
Qualifications
- DMLT / BMLT / MLT or relevant certification in Medical Laboratory Technology.
- 1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience (preferred).
Additional Requirements
- Willingness to work in night shift.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently.
